  • 1 cup ricotta cheese

Instructions

  1. Begin by heating the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Once it’s warmed, add the Italian sausage, breaking it apart with a spoon as it browns.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the browned sausage, letting them mingle until the onion softens and becomes translucent.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and water, stirring gently to combine. Bring this mixture to a simmer.
  4. Introduce the broken lasagna noodles into the simmering pot. Cook them until they’re al dente, around 10 minutes.
  5. Reduce the heat and stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning and season with salt and pepper to taste.
