Instructions
- Start by taking your chicken breasts and placing them in the prepared casserole dish. Season the chicken with salt to taste, ensuring that it’s evenly coated. Next, sprinkle minced garlic over the chicken.
- Spread basil pesto evenly across each chicken breast and layer fresh tomato slices over the pesto. Finally, top with slices of mozzarella cheese.
- Bake the chicken for about 20 to 30 minutes, checking that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) for safety.
