- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 1/2 cup Buffalo wing sauce
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls or soft dinner rolls)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, optional
Instructions
- Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F. While the oven is heating, lightly grease your 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter to prevent the sliders from sticking.
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken with the Buffalo wing sauce. Stir in the softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, and sour cream until the mixture is thorough and creamy.
- Next, fold in half of the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheeses into the chicken mixture.
- Carefully slice the slider buns horizontally, keeping the top and bottom halves connected if possible. Place the bottom halves of the buns into the prepared baking dish. Evenly distribute the buffalo chicken dip mixture over the buns. Top with remaining cheeses.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder and gently brush this mixture over the tops of the buns.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. After this, remove the foil and bake for another 8-10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the tops are golden brown.
- If desired, sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Feel free to substitute chicken with shredded turkey or a plant-based protein. Mix in diced jalapeños for extra heat.
