Description

Indulging in a delicious meal is one of life’s greatest pleasures, Cajun Shrimp and Salmon with Garlic Cream Sauce delivers bold flavors and satisfying textures.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 4 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika
  • 4 medium russet potatoes, peeled & chunked
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. To begin, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the peeled and chunked russet potatoes and let them cook until tender, which typically takes around 15 to 20 minutes.
  2. Next, it’s time to focus on the seafood. Start by patting the salmon fillets and shrimp dry using a paper towel; this helps achieve a nice sear when cooking.
  3. Using the same skillet, let’s make that luscious garlic cream sauce! Start by melting another tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
  4. While the seafood finishes cooking, blanch the green beans in a separate pot of boiling salted water for about 3 to 4 minutes.
  5. Now comes the exciting part—plating your meal!

Notes

Always taste and adjust the seasoning in your dishes! It’s the best way to achieve flavor perfection.
