Description

This Cheesy Artichoke & Spinach Christmas Tree Pull Apart is a delicious combination of creamy artichoke, fresh spinach, and melted cheese that will make your holiday gatherings delightful.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 1 cup artichoke hearts, chopped
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine cream cheese, artichoke hearts, spinach, garlic, mozzarella, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well mixed.
  3. Roll out the frozen bread dough into a 1/2 inch thick rectangle and cut out shapes using a star-shaped cookie cutter.
  4. Stuff each shape with the spinach-artichoke filling and seal the edges.
  5. Arrange the filled shapes on the baking sheet in the shape of a Christmas tree.
  6. Brush the tops with egg wash and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

For an even cheesier filling, you may add more mozzarella or include different cheeses.
