  • 12 oz wide egg noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add in the wide egg noodles and cook until just al dente, then drain.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned. Add in the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened.
  4. Drain any excess grease from the skillet, then stir in the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Gently fold the cooked egg noodles into the beef mixture until well-coated.
  6. Transfer the mixture into the greased baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and layer the crispy fried onions on top.
  8. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Garnish and serve.
