- 12 oz wide egg noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup crispy fried onions
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add in the wide egg noodles and cook until just al dente, then drain.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned. Add in the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened.
- Drain any excess grease from the skillet, then stir in the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Gently fold the cooked egg noodles into the beef mixture until well-coated.
- Transfer the mixture into the greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and layer the crispy fried onions on top.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Garnish and serve.
