Instructions
- Begin by preheating your oven to 350℉ (175℃).
- Prepare two baking sheets by lining them with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
- Cream the butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla, mixing until fully incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing gently.
- Stir in chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto the baking sheets, leaving space between them.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
- Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
