Ingredients

  • 3 medium bananas, peeled and split lengthwise
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup chocolate ice cream
  • 1 cup strawberry ice cream
  • 1/4 cup chocolate sauce
  • 1/4 cup strawberry sauce
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 3 maraschino cherries

Instructions

  1. Start by placing your long dessert dish in the freezer. Chilling it for about 5 minutes will enhance your Banana Split experience by preventing the ice cream from melting too quickly once served.
  2. Once your dish is chilled, carefully arrange the bananas in the dish by placing them cut-side up and lengthwise.
  3. Using an ice cream scooper, scoop out generous portions of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream and place them artfully between the banana halves.
  4. Drizzle the chocolate sauce and strawberry sauce generously over the ice cream scoops.
