- 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup shredded sweetened coconut
- 1 cup toffee bits (such as Heath or Skor)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients and fold into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips, coconut, toffee bits, and optional nuts.
- Spread the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Cool in the pan on a wire rack, then lift out and cut into squares.
Notes
These cookie bars store well and can be made ahead. They can also be frozen for up to three months.
