- 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 oz linguine pasta, cooked al dente
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Melt the unsalted butter and olive oil together.
- Add the chicken pieces, seasoning with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, cayenne, thyme, and onion powder. Cook for 6 to 7 minutes until browned.
- Remove the chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, sauté garlic until golden.
- Pour in chicken broth and scrape up browned bits. Let simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Reduce heat, stir in heavy cream, lemon juice, and Parmesan until thickened, about 3 to 4 minutes.
- Return chicken to skillet, add linguine, and mix well to coat.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
To ensure chicken is cooked to 165°F, use a meat thermometer. Pasta should be al dente for best texture.
