- A handful of ice cubes (optional, for a colder drink)
Instructions
- Start by peeling and slicing the two ripe bananas into smaller pieces.
- In your blender, combine the sliced bananas, almond milk, fresh lemon juice, grated ginger, ground turmeric, and your choice of honey or maple syrup. If you’re looking for a colder drink, toss in a handful of ice cubes.
- Once everything is blended to a creamy consistency, adjust the flavor as necessary.
- Pour the smoothie into two glasses and serve immediately.
Notes
Using frozen bananas creates a creamier texture. Adjust the amount of ice for desired consistency.
