  • 500g ground beef
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ cup reserved pasta water (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook fettuccine until al dente. Drain, reserving ½ cup pasta water.
  2. Brown the beef: In a large skillet, cook ground beef with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Remove from skillet.
  3. Prepare garlic butter sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter, add garlic & sauté. Pour in cream and simmer.
  4. Incorporate Parmesan: Stir in Parmesan until melted. Add beef back to skillet.
  5. Combine and serve: Toss pasta with sauce, adjust with pasta water. Garnish with parsley & Parmesan, serve immediately.
