  • Author: Alioui
  • Total Time: 20-23 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

Crispy Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts with Garlic and Parmesan bring an exciting burst of flavor to a classic vegetable dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Start by preheating your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). While it’s heating, place the Brussels sprouts in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle the olive oil over them, then add garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly to ensure each sprout is well coated with the seasoned oil mixture.
  2. Once preheated, arrange the Brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are evenly spread. Cook them for 15-18 minutes. It’s important to shake the basket halfway through cooking to achieve even browning and crispiness on all sides.
  3. After the Brussels sprouts are golden and crispy, remove them from the air fryer. Transfer them back into the mixing bowl and immediately sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over them, allowing it to melt slightly with the residual heat. Serve them hot, with optional lemon wedges on the side to add a refreshing zing.

Notes

These Brussels sprouts are best enjoyed fresh to maintain their crispiness. If you need to prep ahead, keep them in the fridge before air frying, and cook just before serving.
