- 1 can (15 oz) quartered artichoke hearts, drained
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup plain breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). While the oven is warming up, grab a can of quartered artichoke hearts. Make sure to drain them well to keep the final dish from becoming soggy. Once drained, use paper towels to pat the artichoke quarters dry. This will help them crisp up nicely when baked.
- In a medium bowl, combine the melted unsalted butter with the garlic powder. In another separate bowl, mix the grated Parmesan cheese with the breadcrumbs, ensuring even distribution.
- Take each drained artichoke heart and dip it into the buttery garlic mixture, ensuring it’s well-covered. After that, roll the artichoke into the breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture, thoroughly coating it. Place the coated artichoke heart on the prepared baking sheet.
- Once you’ve coated all the artichoke hearts, pop the baking sheet into your preheated oven. Bake for 18 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Flip them halfway through the cooking time to ensure both sides are perfectly crispy.
- After they have baked, take the crispy artichokes out of the oven and let them cool slightly. They can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature!
