- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons green onions, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Prepare the tofu: Cut it into 1-inch cubes after pressing.
- Coat the tofu: Toss with cornstarch in a shallow bowl until evenly coated.
- Heat the oil: In a nonstick skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Cook the tofu: Add the tofu cubes to the skillet in a single layer and cook until golden brown.
- Make the glaze: Lower heat and add maple syrup, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic powder, and smoked paprika, stirring to coat.
- Finish and serve: Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
