- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, combine milk, melted butter, and egg; whisk until blended.
- Pour wet mixture into dry ingredients and stir gently until a soft dough forms.
- Knead dough lightly on a floured surface for 5-6 times.
- Divide dough into 8 portions, shape into rolls, and place on baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
These rolls are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
