  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or mini chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (for frosting)
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)
  • 3 to 4 cups powdered sugar (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking pan.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and stir in vanilla extract.
  3. Mix in mashed bananas and sour cream.
  4. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl, then fold into wet ingredients.
