Blueberry Dump Cake Butter

Description

A quick, easy, and utterly delicious dessert combining sweet, tart blueberries and buttery cake.


Ingredients

  • 31.5 ounces blueberry pie filling (two 15.75-ounce cans)
  • 15.25 ounces yellow cake mix
  • ½ cup salted butter, cold
  • 12 cups fresh blueberries (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Next, take your clean 9”x13” baking dish and spread the blueberry pie filling across the bottom.
  3. Once the blueberry filling is in place, sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the top.
  4. Slice the cold butter into very thin pats and arrange them across the top of the dry cake mix.
  5. If you choose to use fresh blueberries, now is the time to sprinkle them generously over the top of the cake mix.
  6. Place your baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes.
  7. Once it’s out of the oven, allow the Blueberry Dump Cake Butter to rest for about 15 minutes.
