- 6 beef burger patties
- 6 brioche-style burger buns
- ½ red onion, thinly sliced
- 8 ounces crumbled feta cheese
- 1½ cups fresh arugula
- Blueberry Sauce:
- 1 pint blueberries
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- ¼ cup water
- Pinch of salt
- Jalapeño Aioli:
- 1–2 fresh jalapeños, seeded and chopped
- ¼ cup fresh basil leaves
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Start off by soaking the sliced red onions in cold water for about 10 minutes.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the blueberries, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Allow this mixture to come to a gentle boil.
- For the aioli, simply combine the seeded jalapeños, fresh basil, olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic powder in a blender. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Get your grill or frying pan sizzling hot! Grill the beef patties over medium heat for about 5 minutes per side.
