Instructions

- In a larger bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add large egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until a dough forms.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
- Roll out the chilled dough to about 1/4 inch thick on a floured surface.
- Spread the blueberry jam evenly over the dough, leaving a small border.
- Roll the dough into a log and slice it into 1/2-inch thick rounds.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown around the edges.
