Description
If indulgence were a flavor, it would taste like Butterfinger Chocolate Caramel Crunch Truffles. Perfect for those who enjoy the decadence of chocolate blended with a delightful crunch and a touch of gooey caramel, these little bites of heaven are sure to become a household favorite.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup caramel chips
- 1/2 cup crushed Butterfinger bars
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate, melted
- 1/4 cup crushed graham crackers (for garnish)
- 1/4 cup additional crushed Butterfinger bars (for garnish)
Instructions
- Begin by taking a medium mixing bowl, and combine the softened cream cheese, caramel chips, and the crushed Butterfinger bars. Blend them thoroughly until the mixture becomes smooth and well-integrated.
- Once your mixture is smooth, it’s time to form the truffles. Use your hands to scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place these balls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- While your truffles are chilling, it’s time to melt the semi-sweet chocolate. Use a microwave-safe bowl to heat the chocolate in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until completely melted and smooth.
- Once the truffles are firm, take them out of the freezer. Dip each frozen truffle into the melted chocolate, ensuring they’re fully covered.
- Finally, place the truffles back on the parchment-lined baking sheet and let them set.
Notes
Ensure your cream cheese is fully softened for the best mixing results.
