Description

This Cheeseburger Pasta is a delightful blend of flavors combining the essence of a classic cheeseburger with pasta.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ketchup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pickles and extra ketchup for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil, then add the macaroni. Cook according to the package instructions until it’s al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart until browned (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; stir until the onion softens (2-3 minutes).
  4. Mix in mustard and ketchup, then pour in beef broth and milk. Bring to a gentle simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Gradually stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Season with salt and pepper; add macaroni and fold into the mixture until coated.
  7. Serve hot, topped with pickles and extra ketchup if desired.

Notes

Don’t skip seasoning the dish with salt and pepper. It enhances all the flavors beautifully.
