  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and halved
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups crispy fried onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet, over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, then drain fat and season.
  3. Blanch the green beans in boiling salted water for 3-4 minutes, then drain.
  4. Combine cream of mushroom soup with sour cream, add beef and green beans, and stir.
  5. Transfer to the baking dish, top with cheddar cheese, and bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Add fried onions and bake until golden, about 5-7 minutes.
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
