  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley or Italian herbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Begin by melting the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Once it's melted and bubbling, add minced garlic and cook for a minute until fragrant.
  2. Gradually whisk in the flour, stirring until it forms a roux. Slowly incorporate milk and heavy cream while whisking continuously to avoid lumps, stirring until the mixture simmers and thickens slightly.
  3. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and season with salt and pepper.
  4. If you’re not using oven-ready noodles, cook the lasagna noodles to al dente according to package instructions, then drain them.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine ricotta cheese with parsley and a pinch of salt.
  6. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread Alfredo sauce at the bottom of your baking dish. Layer noodles, half of the ricotta mixture, half of the shredded chicken, and mozzarella. Repeat layers and finish with sauce and mozzarella on top.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, uncovering for an additional 15–20 minutes until bubbling and golden brown.
  8. Let rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing.
