Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons chopped dill
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, chopped or shredded
  • 1 rib celery, diced
  • ½ cup halved grapes
  • ¼ cup diced red onion
  • 4 croissants
  • Butter lettuce, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, red wine vinegar, and chopped dill. Use a whisk to blend these ingredients until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the chopped or shredded cooked chicken into the bowl along with the diced celery, halved grapes, and diced red onion. Stir all the ingredients thoroughly.
  3. Take your fresh croissants and cut each one in half. On the bottom half, place a few leaves of butter lettuce. Spoon the chicken salad mixture generously onto the lettuce, then crown your sandwich with the top half of the croissant.
