- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup finely diced yellow onion
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 6 to 8 slices American cheese or cheddar
- 1 12-pack Hawaiian slider rolls
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef along with the finely diced yellow onion. Cook until no longer pink, breaking it up with a spatula.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Slice the Hawaiian slider rolls horizontally and lay the bottom halves in a greased baking dish.
- Spoon the beef mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the slider buns and layer cheese slices on top.
- Top with the remaining halves of the rolls, press down gently, and brush with melted butter. Sprinkle sesame seeds if desired.
- Bake covered with foil at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 5 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serve warm.

Consider using different types of cheese like pepper jack for added spice.
