- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, and eggs. Add vanilla extract.
- Incorporate cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20–25 minutes. Allow to cool.
- For the cookie dough: beat softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add milk and vanilla.
- Mix in flour and fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread cookie dough over cooled brownies, refrigerate for at least one hour, then cut into squares and serve.
Notes
Cooking time is crucial; use the toothpick test for best results. Cool completely before adding cookie dough.
