This Cookie Monster Ice Cream combines the thrill of ice cream with the nostalgia of cookie dough and a fun colorful twist!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Blue food coloring (adjust for desired intensity)
  • 1 cup chocolate chip cookie dough chunks (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos)

Instructions

  1. Chill your ice cream maker bowl by placing it in the freezer a whole day before making the ice cream.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and blue food coloring until smooth and silky.
  3. Pour the mixture into the chilled ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions (about 20-25 minutes).
  4. During the last 5 minutes of churning, add the cookie dough chunks and crushed cookies.
  5. Transfer the churned ice cream to a freezer-safe container, ensuring to press parchment paper directly onto the surface and seal tightly. Freeze for at least 4 hours.
