This Cookie Monster Ice Cream combines the thrill of ice cream with the nostalgia of cookie dough and a fun colorful twist!
Ingredients

- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Blue food coloring (adjust for desired intensity)
- 1 cup chocolate chip cookie dough chunks (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos)
Instructions
- Chill your ice cream maker bowl by placing it in the freezer a whole day before making the ice cream.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and blue food coloring until smooth and silky.
- Pour the mixture into the chilled ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions (about 20-25 minutes).
- During the last 5 minutes of churning, add the cookie dough chunks and crushed cookies.
- Transfer the churned ice cream to a freezer-safe container, ensuring to press parchment paper directly onto the surface and seal tightly. Freeze for at least 4 hours.
