- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 4 oz Brie cheese, sliced
- ⅓ cup cranberry sauce
- ¼ cup cooked pancetta, crumbled
- 4–5 sprigs fresh thyme
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- ⅛ tsp freshly cracked black pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Unfold the thawed puff pastry on the prepared baking sheet and let it rest until pliable.
- Score a 1-inch border around the edges of the pastry with a sharp knife, being careful not to cut through.
- Spread the cranberry sauce evenly within the scored border.
- Layer the sliced Brie on top of the cranberry sauce.
- Sprinkle the crumbled pancetta over the Brie.
- Strip the thyme leaves and scatter them over the tart.
- Brush the outer edge of the pastry with beaten egg.
- If desired, sprinkle black pepper over the tart.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
