Description

This delightful tart features flaky pastry, creamy Brie, sweet cranberry sauce, and savory pancetta.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz Brie cheese, sliced
  • ⅓ cup cranberry sauce
  • ¼ cup cooked pancetta, crumbled
  • 45 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • ⅛ tsp freshly cracked black pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Unfold the thawed puff pastry on the prepared baking sheet and let it rest until pliable.
  3. Score a 1-inch border around the edges of the pastry with a sharp knife, being careful not to cut through.
  4. Spread the cranberry sauce evenly within the scored border.
  5. Layer the sliced Brie on top of the cranberry sauce.
  6. Sprinkle the crumbled pancetta over the Brie.
  7. Strip the thyme leaves and scatter them over the tart.
  8. Brush the outer edge of the pastry with beaten egg.
  9. If desired, sprinkle black pepper over the tart.
  10. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  11. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
  12. Serve warm or at room temperature.
