- 4 cups corn kernels (frozen or fresh)
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese (softened)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pinch cayenne or smoked paprika (optional for heat)
Instructions
- Start by heating a skillet over medium heat. Add the unsalted butter and allow it to melt completely.
- Once your butter is melted, add the corn. Stir the corn into the skillet, ensuring it’s coated with the melted butter. Cook the corn for about 5 minutes.
- After the corn cooks, stir in the honey, heavy cream, and softened cream cheese, along with the salt and black pepper, and cook together for another 10 minutes.
- If you enjoy a little heat, consider adding a pinch of cayenne or smoked paprika at the end of the cooking time.
