Instructions
- Whisk together cocoa powder, sugar, and salt in a medium saucepan.
- Gradually add water while whisking to ensure a smooth mixture.
- Heat mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it reaches a gentle boil.
- Allow to simmer for 3-5 minutes while stirring, until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Cool to room temperature and transfer to a glass jar for storage.
