Description

This delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese combines buttery garlic bread flavors with gooey cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley until combined.
  2. Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Sprinkle half of the cheese blend on each of the bread slices in the skillet and top with the remaining slices, butter-side up.
  4. Cook on low heat for 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes until the cheese melts and bread is golden brown.
  5. Let the sandwiches sit for a minute before slicing them in half. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use softened butter for easy spreading and cook on low heat to avoid burning.
