Description
This Garlic Parmesan Shrimp recipe is a quick and delightful seafood dish ready in just 25 minutes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt & fresh black pepper, to taste
- 1.5 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
- Begin by heating your oven to 400°F (200°C). This ideal temperature ensures that the shrimp cook evenly and the topping becomes beautifully golden.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, freshly squeezed lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined into a smooth sauce that will add layers of flavor to the shrimp.
- Lay your shrimp flat in the greased baking dish. The even spacing allows the shrimp to cook uniformly. Spoon the garlic-Parmesan mixture generously over each shrimp, ensuring they are well-coated.
- Top the coated shrimp with panko breadcrumbs. The panko adds a crunchy texture that complements the succulent shrimp and creamy cheese sauce.
- Place the shrimp in the preheated oven and bake for 12–15 minutes. The shrimp should turn pink and the topping should become golden brown.
- If desired, broil the dish for 1–2 minutes to achieve extra crispiness. Watch closely to prevent burning.
- Once done, remove from the oven and let cool slightly before garnishing with freshly chopped parsley. Serve hot and enjoy!
