- Additional granulated sugar for rolling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Mix all-purpose flour, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, ground nutmeg, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream softened butter with granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg, molasses, and vanilla extract until just combined.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients until combined.
- Scoop and roll dough into balls, coat in sugar, and place on baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set and tops are cracking. Cool on wire rack.
