Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
- ½ cup shaved Parmesan
- ½ cup croutons (optional)
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled (optional)
Instructions
- Begin by preparing the shrimp. Combine them in a bowl with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, salt, and lemon juice. This mixture not only adds flavor but also tenderizes the shrimp. Let them sit for a few minutes to absorb the spices fully. Preheat your grill over medium-high heat. Once heated, place the shrimp onto the grill. Grill for about 2–3 minutes on each side. The shrimp should look pink and opaque, signaling they are cooked perfectly.
- While the shrimp is grilling, you can prepare the Caesar dressing. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, grated Parmesan, freshly squeezed lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic until everything is well blended. Season the dressing with salt and pepper according to your taste preference. This homemade dressing will bring a rich, tangy dimension to your wraps.
- Once your shrimp are done, it’s time to assemble the wraps. Gently warm the tortillas either in a microwave or on a dry skillet for ease of rolling. Spread a generous amount of your Caesar dressing onto each tortilla. Layer with grilled shrimp, ensuring each wrap has an even share. Add a handful of chopped romaine lettuce, a sprinkle of shaved Parmesan, and any optional toppings such as croutons or crumbled bacon for added texture and flavor.
- To wrap, fold the sides inwards and roll the tortilla tightly from one edge to the other. With a sharp knife, slice the wrap in half. These wraps are best served immediately, giving you the freshest crunch and the most vibrant flavors.
Notes
Ensure shrimp are deveined and tails are removed before cooking for the best texture. Preheating the grill is crucial to avoid shrimp sticking and to achieve evenly cooked results.
