Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, slightly softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp corn starch
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (plus more for topping)
  • 9 Halloween Oreos
  • 1/4 cup Halloween sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a bowl and cream together.
  3. Add in the egg and vanilla extract to the creamed mixture, mixing until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, corn starch, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Slowly add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, folding until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and Halloween sprinkles.
  7. Scoop about 1/4 cup of dough, place a Halloween Oreo in the center, and wrap the dough around it.
  8. Place cookies on the baking sheet and bake for around 10 minutes.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
