Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup Nutella or other chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your muffin tin.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Mash the ripe bananas, then combine with wet ingredients.
  4. Mix wet and dry ingredients gently.
  5. Scoop batter into muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  7. Let cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
