Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and chai spice mix.
- Add the cold butter to the dry ingredients and work until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream, egg, orange zest, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Pat the dough into a round shape and cut into 8 wedges.
- Brush the tops with heavy cream and bake for 16 to 18 minutes.
