Instructions

  1. Start by whisking together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir gently just until combined—aim for a slightly lumpy batter.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or a cooking spray.
  5. While pancakes stay warm, prepare the cream cheese drizzle. Beat together softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
