Decadent, easy-to-make treat that combines peanut butter and chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, whisk until incorporated.
  3. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix gently.
  4. Distribute batter into muffin tin, filling each cup two-thirds full.
  5. Mix peanut butter and powdered sugar, drop onto brownie batter, swirl with a toothpick.
  6. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until edges are firm and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  8. Cool in tin for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

Ensure butter is melted but not hot to avoid curdling eggs.
