- 120 g Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
- 120 ml pomegranate seeds (arils)
- 2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
- 1 small garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon scallions, finely sliced (optional)
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 0.5 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Start by crumbling the feta cheese into a medium mixing bowl. Add in the Greek yogurt and softened cream cheese. Using a fork or hand mixer, blend the cheeses together until you achieve a smooth, creamy consistency.
- Next, mix in the minced garlic, lemon zest, and lemon juice into the cheesy blend. Add freshly ground black pepper and salt to taste.
- Using a spatula, spread the creamy feta mixture evenly onto a serving plate or into a shallow bowl. Drizzle a tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil over the top and sprinkle the pomegranate seeds evenly across the surface.
Notes
This dip can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for an hour to let the flavors meld together.
