Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed

Cinnamon Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 23 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Mix the spice cake mix, eggs, sour cream, and vegetable oil until smooth.
  3. Pour half the batter into the baking dish.
  4. Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and pecans; sprinkle over batter.
  5. Top with remaining batter and sprinkle with more cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes; check with a toothpick for doneness.
  7. Prepare the cinnamon glaze while the cake cools.
