- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk the egg and water to create an egg wash.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine pumpkin, sugar, and pumpkin pie spice until uniform.
- Spread the pumpkin mixture on each sheet of puff pastry and roll them up.
- Slice the rolled pastry down the center, twist sections, and shape them.
- Place pastries on the baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and sprinkle with coarse sugar, if desired.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown and then drizzle with glaze.
