- 2 ribeye steaks (1–1.5 inches thick)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed

Instructions
- Remove the ribeye steaks from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature.
- Preheat your skillet on high heat until very hot.
