Ingredients

  • Puff Pastry Sheets: 2 sheets, thawed
  • Ground Spiced Pork Sausage: 1 pound, cooked and crumbled
  • Rotel Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies: 1 can (10 ounces), well-drained
  • Cream Cheese: 8 ounces, softened
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese: 1 cup
  • Egg: 1, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook the spiced pork sausage until browned and crumbled, then drain excess grease.
  3. Combine sausage, well-drained Rotel tomatoes, softened cream cheese, and shredded cheddar in a mixing bowl.
  4. Roll out puff pastry sheets and cut into 3-inch squares. Fill each square with a spoonful of the mixture, fold, and seal edges.
  5. Arrange on baking sheet, brush with beaten egg, and bake for 15–18 minutes until golden.
  6. Cool for 3–4 minutes and serve warm.
