Description

Wholesome and easy-to-make Spinach and Cheese Squares perfect for snacks or side dishes.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups finely chopped fresh spinach
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Coat a 9×9-inch baking dish lightly with olive oil.
  3. In a bowl, mix spinach, ricotta, feta, and Parmesan cheese.
  4. In another bowl, whisk eggs with flour, nutmeg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Combine the egg mixture with the spinach mixture.
  6. Pour into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden on top.
  7. Let cool slightly, slice into squares and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Ensure spinach is finely chopped and cheeses are mixed well. Use full-fat cheese for a creamier result.
