Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 2 cans strawberry pie filling (21 oz each)
  • 1 block cream cheese (8 oz), softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the baking dish.
  3. Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth; dollop over strawberry filling.
  4. Sprinkle dry cake mix over cheesecake mixture.
  5. Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix and optionally top with pecans.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden and bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving.
