Description

A refreshing and easy no-bake dessert combining layers of pretzels, cream cheese, and strawberry gelatin.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels or cookies
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 12 tablespoons sugar (optional, if using pretzels)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups whipped topping or whipped cream
  • 1 package (3 oz) strawberry gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced strawberries (fresh or frozen)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine crushed pretzels or cookies with melted butter and optional sugar. Mix until crumbly. Transfer to a 9×13-inch dish, press down to create a crust, and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add granulated sugar and mix until integrated. Fold in whipped topping gently. Spread mixture over cooled crust.
  3. Dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water. Add cold water and cool. Fold in sliced strawberries. Pour over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until set.
