- 4 tilapia fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 2 large red bell peppers
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the red bell peppers into strips, removing any seeds and membranes.
- Once the peppers have cooled slightly after roasting, transfer them to a blender and add the garlic cloves and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
- In a large skillet, heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Season the tilapia fillets generously with salt and pepper and cook them for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Pour the pepper sauce over the cooked tilapia and allow to simmer together for 1-2 minutes.
- Carefully plate the tilapia fillets and serve alongside your choice of sides.
