  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Zest from 1 orange

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Cake Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease the cake pan and line it with parchment paper.
  2. Caramelize the Oranges: Melt 1/4 cup butter and brown sugar in a saucepan. Pour into the cake pan and arrange orange slices.
  3. Cream Butter and Sugar: Cream remaining butter with granulated sugar. Add eggs, vanilla extract, and orange zest.
  4. Combine Dry Ingredients: Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to the cream mixture alternately with milk.
